Heather Heinz has provided superior casting and talent coordinating services in the Southeast Market since 1997.
She had a casting studio on the backlot of Universal Orlando and was located there for over 15 years. She continues to partner with Universal Orlando Resorts and has cast hundreds of commercials, social media, and print campaigns for them.
The Heinz Casting team works with Production to get as much knowledge as we can about the scope of the project. Reading scripts, understanding their vision, discussing character descriptions, and getting a feel for the intensity they are looking for are just part of our job.
We provide a balance of established actors and a variety of new talent.
As casting directors, we must be culturally sensitive and remember that authenticity and creativity are key.

Casting for nonunion and union Commercials, TV, Film, Industrials, Web, Social, and New Media Content and Print Campaigns. Actors - we encourage you to learn how to self-tape and practice your framing for your Skype and Zoom auditions! Central Florida attracts performers from all over the world because of our Theme Parks. Actors, Models, Singers, Dancers, and Stunt Performers all come to Orlando to get a chance to perform at Universal, Disney, SeaWorld, or Busch Gardens. Serving the Southeast, our home base is in Orlando, FL. However, we can cast wherever needed, Booking talent: Talent will be booked through their talent agency if they have an agent.

For our Casting Session:
Self taping, and/or virtual auditions (Skype/Zoom) have been the primary format for our castings, but we can hold live castings as well.
We connect with Agents and Actors and give them an informative breakdown, so they can give you their best performance. We provide clear and concise direction and allow the actor to be creative and show their vision for the role.
We've cast campaigns in Spanish, Portuguese, French Creole, and Mandarin.
People with visible and non-visible disabilities.
And we have cast over 500 people that represent the LGBTQIA+ communities.
We find a cast that everyone is excited about, and we are the company that finds the "hard to find".

We utilize Social Media to find new talent when approved by production.
Our job is to arrange and audition the best local, regional, or national talent available. The session will be designed to fulfill your production requirements, and we are always conscientious of the production budget.
We cast Speaking, Non-speaking, Models, Influencers, and Real People. Non-union and Union jobs.
We offer self tape, virtual, street casting, and in person.
We cast a wide net, review the self tapes, and provide notes and guidance to the talent. After reviewing with our client, reduce options as needed.

Heather Heinz and her team managed a very challenging non-traditional casting assignment for me.
I was producing a series of videos for the US Army and needed to find/film testimonials from 10 Army veterans for an AOL micro-site called "Army Lifelong Success."
The Army provided us with an approved list of hundreds of real-life veterans all over the country and it was Heather's task to contact these veterans, screen them, obtain photos and/or video samples and submit them for client review.
It was a highly sensitive, time-consuming process – and the result was a huge success as we profiled 10 superb, diverse veterans – and the US Army was enormously pleased with the final videos.
